Everything went very well and it was a great warm up for May 9th…. The BEAST of a tourney.
All of the numbers will be crunched after May 9th and we will announce the final number that combines both tournaments. Get ready Lacrosse fans… we are going to end up with the number that STICKS It To Cancer!
Thank you to all the 2nd- 6th graders that played ball all day in the heat. Thank you to the coaches and all the organizations in attendance. And thank you to all the officials who stood tall on all the fields ALL DAY LONG!
On a side note -
Over the years something always happens that will stick with you forever. Well, today wenhad one of those moments. A young boy walked up to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation table and asked for an envelope. He proceeded to pour in a collection of quarters, nickles and dimes. It was everything he had in his pockets. He then asked ‘Is this enough?’ Well young man… that is more than enough!
This is what it is all about! STICK it to Cancer!
Thanks again to all those who came out today, see you on the 9th!
