About
Stick It To Cancer is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money, through the sport of Lacrosse, for the fight against cancer. Stick It To Cancer is a 100% volunteer based organization, absolutely no paid employees and no collection of administrative fees.
In 2007 the first Annual Middle School Tournament was held at Cary Academy, Cary NC. Over 15 teams attended and approx. 1,000 people were on the campus for the event. The tournament ended up raising over $3,000 for Hospice of Wake County.
In 2008 the second Annual Middle School Tournament was held at Cary Academy, Cary NC. Over $4,500 was raised for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
For 2009 there will be two tournaments and all proceeds will go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. This will be the third year for the Middle School Tournament and the first year for the Elementary School Tournament.
